Phil is a highly experienced digital professional with a 30 year career in financial services, 20 years of which spent immersed in digital design, customer experience and delivery. He has experience of multi-brand businesses, quality design and customer experience and the 'nuts and bolts' of delivery and joined LBG Group Digital in 2013 in a leadership role to help shape strategy in the emerging digital space for Wealth Management and Investments.
Today Phil's role is Product Owner, Single Customer View, Insurance and Wealth Group Transformation. He is accountable for helping customers get easy access to their insurance products alongside their banking and being the launch pad for helping customers transact with us; whether digitally, in branch or over the phone.
Previous to LBG, Phil joined the NatWest/RBS in 1989 working in several roles including Head of Digital, RBS Wealth in 2008. In this role he transformed the purpose of digital in UK private banks, Coutts and Adam & Company. His strategy saw the end-to-end digital experience redesigned, providing engaging new content for customers, acquiring, for the first time, new customers through digital, creating an award winning social media presence, redesigning the personal and commercial online banking services and launching a new mobile banking app.
